The year of the Yeti

Welcome to 2020!

We can't wait to adventure with you all this year. Come see us at Clubs Day on Concourse tomorrow (Wed 26th Feb) and try out your balancing skills on the slackline. We have a cool little club sticker free for confirmed new members, and trip lists available for everyone interested.
The Ruahine White Water Club will be joining us at our table and are offering a year of free membership to their club along with free gear hire on any of their trips for new members of our club. You can find more information at: https://kayakingpalmy.weebly.com/

Can't make clubs day? No worries, we have an information night along with sign ups for our first trip the Tongariro Crossing on Monday 2nd March in the MUSA Lounge at 7pm. Come sign up for the club and grab a trip list, buy a buff for your alpine escapades or order a t-shirt to show the world you're a Yeti.

Semester 2 update!

With the end of the break getting closer, we started to gather as committee and found some spectacular hikes and trips for you! Want to join us on the next hike? --> Then make sure to check out the trip list so you won't miss out on anything!

Any questions about the trip, the gear, etc. can be asked to one of the organizers as they are in charge of arranging while the committee is often not able to answer your questions as they are responsible for the finances and general organization in the group. Want to know who is part of the executives or committee, then check this page!

We will keep you up-to-date on possible changes due to weather, etc. in the schedule via Facebook, Instagram, and this page!

We also want to let you know that we still sell the scarves (buff) to support our club and the trips! Talk to Dan if you want to know more about this or any of the committee members on Monday evenings!

Semester break

The committee, together with some members, came back from the MUAC hut up Ruapehu to give it a good old rub and do some maintenance. It is the semerster break of course and that means that the committee is already preparing the trips for the next semester!
We like to keep you updated so make sure to check this page out a few days before the semester to see where we will be going. Also, the trip-list will be shared on our FaceBook page and on the MUAC homepage.

Cheers and have a good break!

Welcome back

First of all, if you are new and want to join us, then check out this page.

Now, we are both back on Instagram and on our website after a really long silence. As semester 2 is coming up in 2019, we are keen to hear your opinion on where you would love to hike and other crazy plans!

Join us again in July on our tramping adventures. Rumours are going on that bushball 2.0 will be organized for the poor souls that mist the real one. Make sure to stay up to date by following the FaceBook page. Don't have FaceBook? Make sure to follow this blog once in a while as photos and updates will be posted on here.

Cheers and good luck with your exams,
